Building Extensions

A purpose built mezzanine floor is currently being built at Waterlooville to house the Gipsy drawings and technical news sheets. When the literature is moved back in-house it should enable a quicker reaction time to customer requests.

It is the intention of the Directors to extend the current Waterlooville facility by 2,500 sq.ft. Quotations are currently being sourced and local authority planning permission talks are ongoing with the Havant Borough Council. Commencement date will be late 2004.

Computer System

The Directors of Deltair have investigated the necessity of installing a computer system to work within the framework of aviation’s highly bureaucratic system of administration.

Our future intention of introducing an aviation parts sales platform utilising internet based sales techniques would also work well with our purchase.
The system that we intend to procure consists of five computer systems with windows XP professional, HP Proliant server with increased memory kit etc.

Internet Sales

Negotiations are ongoing with the view to purchase an established internet based aircraft parts sales company. The delicate stage of the transaction requires security therefore further information will be provided soon.

Partnerships

The Directors of Deltair are to seek partnerships and distributorships within the aviation sector.

To work with other companies as the development and use of the Diesel engine becomes widespread. To help with technical back up as required to the engine manufacturer with warranties and fault finding.

To seek distributorships with accessory and component suppliers around the world within the general aviation sectors.

Training Courses

The current successful piston engine and propeller courses run by Deltair for the surveyors of the Civil Aviation Authority are to be extended.

Deltair have been approached by several Technical Colleges and Government bodies to offer courses for piston engines and propellers.

Our intentions are to offer standard technical based courses on piston engine and propeller technology incorporating relevant civil aviation regulations.
